Help to keep trees in the Laurels Preserve healthy!  Bring large shears or lopers to cut and remove bittersweet vines, which can "smother" trees.    Please bring gloves and dress appropriately for walking through rose bushes, poison ivy, and wineberry. Meet at the Laurels parking lot gate at 11 a.m.

Join the Young Friends and plant a tree in the Laurels Preserve.  As they grow, the trees will increase food and shelter for wildlife and improve soil stability and the water quality of nearby streams.  Participant fee includes the cost of trees and lunch.
