Provide assistance to the Director of Development in creation and production of fundraising materials, donor research and special fundraising events.
Prepare materials to support fundraising activities including: Special Campaigns, Grant Proposals, Corporate Sponsorship Solicitations, and other item as required (e.g., Annual Giving campaign, membership, newsletter articles, etc.,)
Conduct research on prospective individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
Coordinate productions and mailing of spring and year-end appeal letters.
Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration materials and other duties as assigned for fundraising events.
Bachelor's degree and previous experience in fund-raising support position required.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in grant writing.
Proficiency in MS Office; preferable knowledge of Raiser's Edge software.
Knowledge of the role of technology and electronic communication in fundraising; ability to write e-content.
Understanding of the need for confidentiality regarding sensitive information about donors and Development Office activities.
